Dasher? Dancer? Prancer? Vixen? Comet? Cupid? Donner? Blitzen? No, it's Rudolph!
Winter is coming and Christmas is coming and at Christmas you tell the truth - as it was said in Love Actually.
I love Christmas movies - especially It's a Wonderful Life and Love Actually.
I guess almost all of you know or have heard of It's a Wonderful Life. Absolutely lovely and it might be a bit scary. Would you like to know what might happen if you weren't born at all? George Bailet, main character of the movie, had a chance and so many sad and great things happenned next. I absolutely loved it - and the end (be calm, I'm not going to tell you what happens at the end), and of course fantastic James Stewart! Must seen.
Love Actually is quite new, if a ten-year-old movie might be called a new one... I might not be a fan of all the episodes, but I always enjoy one about telling the truth and one with Martin Freeman. I watch it every Christmas (and to tell the truth, and at Christmas you tell the truth, I watch it almost every month).
Leaving movies and coming back to reality. Buying Christmas gifts - checked. Christmas shopping (and sales!) - checked. Christmas at work - checked. Christmas movies - checked. Christmas mood - checked. Bankruptcy - checked. Receiving first Christmas gifts - checked. Yes, I received first Christmas gifts from my friend - DVD (not Christmas movie), socks with reindeer (very Christmas) and book written by Swietłana Aleksandrowna Aleksijewicz about soviet women fighting during World War II (I have been reading many books about World War II history, for a long time).
Is there anything else to wait for apart from Chrtistmas dinner with my family and friends (and of course gifts)?
Of course there is!
I know what I'm gonna do on Christmas Day, evening actually, I'm gonna watch Doctor Who Christmas Special. Leaving Matt outside Tardis will be sad, but Peter Capaldi is coming, and I really like Peter Capaldi. And before (or after?) Doctor Who I'm gonna watch Sherlock special, with anticipation, 'cause I cannot wait to watch Sherlock, series three. Yes, I can say it, I'm a Sherlock fan so I'm waiting for 1.01.2014! And you know what? Maybe you're gonna enjoy Doctor Who and Sherlock with me, with some new vectors? And I might tell you a little secret, a really tiny one, I have a surprise for you and it's gonna happen quite soon!
Last, but not least, I cannot wait to watch The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug and I envy those who have already watched it in cinemas around the world! And 1.01.2014 is gonna be special to me not only because of Sherlock, but also because I'm gonna watch Hobbit then. I know that some people didn't like the first movie, but I loved it and I love watching it and watching it, and watching it - I cannot stop - dwarfs are awesome and Armitage? Absolutely wow. What you may not know is that if I were to choose my favourite character of all Tolkien's books (and Jackson's movies), I wouldn't choose Bilbo, Thorin, Frodo, Kili, Legolas, Eomer or Aragorn. I'm in love with Gandalf and with Sir Ian McKellen. I would love to vectorize Gandalf, as you may see him in the movies, but his beard and hair, and moustache are so difficult that I'm not sure if I am able to make it.
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to each and every one of you.
